Field Level partners with The St. Louis Pirates to provide college recruitment tool..
Field Level will be partnering up with the St. Louis Pirates. Players that participate in the Pirates Program will have a profile page what will assist in the college recruiting process. Each player from PBD will be receiving an email shortly that will give them instructions on how to create their new profiles. Online
Players will be able to have the ability to have the following information that will be availability to the college recruiters.
- Photograph
- School & Grad Year
- Positions
- Height & Weight
- GPA
- SAT & ACT Scores
- PBD Club Team
- Video
- Links to stories on player
- Many other options as well
Colleges will be able to access information that is necessary for the player that will help get information on the player that will be available for the college recruiter can have access to. Not all information will be available online to the public. The PBD player will have the ability to update information on his or her own. This is new for PBD players to have the ability to get the information to the college recruiters more effectively.
College Commitment: Kevin Phillips to play for East Tennessee State!
The Pirates are happy to announce that catcher Outfielder Kevin Phillips (University City, 2012) has committed to play baseball at the East Tennessee State University. “This is a great day for Kevin and his family, says Pirates founder Rick Strickland. “Kevin is a catcher with a tremendous power potential and very high ceiling, “He is the kind of player who could easily add another 10 to 15lb of muscle during college and come out as a very high draft pick. We have seen it before. He’s got the tools and the temperment. Just waiting on his body to catch up.” Congratulations to the Phillips and go Bucs!
